Integrated Management Systems
By establishing an integrated management system according to the SRPS ISO 9001, SRPS ISO 14000 and SRPS ISO 45001 standards, as well as its maintenance and improvement, the Institute for Materials Testing has been continuously improving the quality of all segments of its business and the quality of its services for many years, working to understand the context of the organization’s business and the demands and expectations of users and all interested parties, as well as recognizing and reducing risks and encouraging opportunities.
Today, the certification of an integrated management system covers the following areas:
- research and experimental development in technical and technological sciences
- design and supervision in construction
- technical tests and analyses
- calibration of measuring equipment
- production of mechanical equipment for construction
- development of prestressing systems and construction technology
- product certification
- controlling products, processes and facilities
- examination of the competence of test laboratories
- verification of greenhouse gas emissions reports
Accreditation of organizational units
The Institute for Materials Testing has confirmed its competence with the largest scope of accreditation by the Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS), by accrediting testing laboratories, calibration laboratories, certification bodies for products, control bodies, providers for competency testing and verification body.
The testing laboratories and calibration laboratories of the Institute for Materials Testing are accredited according to SRPS ISO/IEC 17025, namely:
- Materials Testing Central laboratory
- Laboratory for Testing Metals
- Laboratory for Roads and Geotechnique
- Structural Testing Laboratory
- Laboratory for Construction Physics
- Laboratory for Mechanical Values
The Institute for Materials Testing is accredited to perform the following tasks:
- product certification according to SRPS EN ISO/IEC 17065
- control according to SRPS ISO/IEC 17020
- proficiency testing according to SRPS ISO/IEC 17043
- verification of GHG reports SRPS EN ISO/IEC 17029
This once again proves the high level of expertise and competence of the Institute for Materials Testing, i.e. the employees who are evaluated in the accreditation process.
